Check the required color, neckline and pant style. If you need a matching set, check the collection and color name on both pieces.

Choose how the pants should sit
Compare the waistband design and whether you prefer a cuffed jogger or an open straight leg. Check the actual inseam; “petite” and “tall” are not measurements.

Put pockets where you use them
Think about where you carry your phone, pens and work essentials. Chest, front and cargo pockets serve different routines; a bigger pocket count alone does not tell you which will work best.

Use the maternity guidance for that model. A familiar size letter can represent different measurements across brands, and you may need different sizes for tops and pants.

What are you trying to solve?
My usual scrubs are getting tight. Should I just size up?
A larger regular size can add room in the shoulders and legs as well as the belly. Compare that with a maternity cut’s waistband or side panels. Check coverage and movement, not just whether you can put the garment on. There is no one-size-up rule that works for every style.
I need petite or tall maternity scrub pants.
Check the exact inseam for the maternity model and selected length. Jogger cuffs and open hems sit differently at the ankle, so compare like with like. A brand offering tall scrubs does not mean every maternity style comes in tall.
I need plus-size maternity scrubs.
Check the bust and hip measurements for the specific maternity style, then confirm that the size, color and length combination you need is available. Do not assume 2X and 2XL mean the same thing across collections. Start with our published chart comparisons, then check the exact garment’s guidance.
I want something comfortable for a long shift.
Prioritize waistband placement, freedom to move, pocket access and care requirements. Fabric percentages and “stretch” descriptions cannot establish all-shift comfort. Is a set better value than separate tops and pants?
